'Picnic at Hanging Rock' — Lesson 14: Writing and Improving an Analytical Response
This individual lesson is part of the Lesson Ready unit on Peter Weir’s Picnic at Hanging Rock.
Lesson 14 guides students through constructing and improving a sustained analytical response. Using the plan developed in Lesson 13, students examine the structure of an effective introduction, analyse a model body paragraph and write their own paragraph using the TEEAEAL structure.
Students also examine how conclusions bring an argument to a purposeful close before reviewing and improving the clarity, evidence, analysis and cohesion of their writing.
