Refund policy
Last updated: 01 August 2026
Lesson Ready supplies digital educational resources. Please review the product description, included files, licence conditions and software requirements carefully before purchasing.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Change-of-mind purchases
Because Lesson Ready products are digital files that can be accessed, downloaded and retained immediately after purchase, refunds are not normally provided where a customer:
- changes their mind
- decides that they no longer need the resource
- purchases the wrong text or unit
- finds an alternative resource
- does not use the purchased files
- expected content that was not included in the product description
- lacks compatible software to open or edit the disclosed file formats
This change-of-mind policy does not affect rights arising under the Australian Consumer Law.
Problems with a digital product
Please contact Lesson Ready if:
- a file is missing, corrupted or cannot be downloaded
- the supplied product is materially different from its description
- the incorrect files have been supplied
- a product has a fault that prevents it from being used for its disclosed purpose
- repeated technical assistance does not provide access to the purchased files
Lesson Ready will first investigate the problem and may provide technical assistance, a corrected file or replacement access.
Where a product does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, the available remedy will depend on the nature and seriousness of the problem. This may include correction, replacement or refund as required by Australian Consumer Law.
Download and software assistance
Lesson Ready resources may include Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, Microsoft Word documents, PDFs and audio files, as specified on the relevant product page.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have software capable of opening the disclosed file formats. Minor differences in layout or formatting caused by different software versions, fonts, devices or user settings do not necessarily mean that a product is faulty.
If a customer experiences difficulty accessing a file, Lesson Ready will provide reasonable assistance.
Duplicate purchases
If the same customer or school accidentally purchases the same product more than once, please contact Lesson Ready promptly.
Once the duplicate transaction has been confirmed, the additional purchase may be refunded. Any additional licence access supplied through the duplicate order may be cancelled.
Licence selections
Customers are responsible for choosing the appropriate licence before purchasing.
An Individual Teacher Licence may be upgraded to an English/EAL Faculty Licence — One Campus by contacting Lesson Ready and paying the applicable price difference.
A refund for the difference between licence types will not normally be provided after the resources have been delivered or accessed.
Listening tasks purchased by schools
Listening-task packages are supplied separately through authorised school purchase orders.
An order may be changed or cancelled before the protected files have been delivered. Once the files have been supplied to the nominated school representative, change-of-mind refunds will not normally be available.
This does not affect the school’s rights if the supplied materials are faulty, incomplete or materially different from their description.
